How many times have you taken someone to court?

Zero times on my end

For those who have, what was the outcome? Was it worth the time/head ache?

No.

I only challenge people to duels when they come at me wrong.

I ran my own contracting business for 15 years. I sued three people during that time and never had to “go to court”. Every one of them settled.

Twice, once for rental security deposit and another for bad service on stove.
Yes, it was worth it. Won both times. The rental one was a hassle. Landlord kept asking for continuances.

Once, and yes it was worth it to divorce that woman! Exhausting going through years of custody battles and community property issues, but in the end I have the kids fulltime and that is worth way more than putting up with her or the money she received in community property settlement.

Does a restraining order count? Selma Hayek wouldn't stop driving by my house.

Every case is totally different. If you're asking if yours should be taken to court, you should probably call a lawyer or post details

The same person? Probably a couple.

But I've been to court countless times back when I had 20-30 rent houses / apts. I even documented it so my wife could go in case I couldn't make it. I have quite a few outstanding judgments against people still. I do live in a landlord friendly state where the eviction process is fast and not expensive.

Personally once.

Professionally, I couldn't venture a guess.

you’re not balling or making moves if you’ve never sued anyone

Twice ...
1-Contractor decided to keep my money and not pay for the materials delivered to build my house (bad choice).
2-Car dealership decided I owed them more money 3 weeks after I bought the car. I cut them a check for the amount on the invoice, but they later decided it wasn't the correct amount.

I'm 2 for 2

Ex for custody

Didn't get sole custody but may as well have. Lawyer was a raging a-hole who took no prisoners. Still grateful to him for that to this day.
