Our intelligence agency said Russians can no longer do any offensive this year due to their losses. The new estimate is 272,000 killed or wounded. That is about the same as the draft just completed. The Russian army is depleted of seasoned troops.
The Ukrainian army is building up in the east to stage major push. They also have major losses This spring will determine the course of the war.

Russia is in bad shape going into Spring. Their winter offensive petered out into almost nothing. They have no strong armor formations and little in the way of a strategic reserve. Ukraine will have the initiative in about a month.
Russias only saving grace so far has been its plurality in artillery but their guns are breaking faster than they can replace them.
Ukraine will launch its offensive with new western trained units and armor not seen on the battlefield yet.
Neither side has or will have air superiority.
I can assume that the Ukrainian generals will also have access to western intel sources on Russian positions and movements.
I’m sorry so many of y’all hate to see Ukraine succeed but it’s not looking good for mother Russia.
