The same people that cry about high prices/dynamic pricing will be the same people that cry when a show that's not using it sells out in 14 seconds and they weren't able to get tickets.

Not my thing, but you guys have a good time.

I did see them at UNO in the late 80's. I went with a friend who was nuts for the Cure. Decent concert, just not my deal.

Fwiw I'm pretty sure the last time The Cure played Nola tickets could be had dirt cheap on the secondary market week of the show.

That was because they played 2 shows to open that tour.

It wasn't originally like this though. They had one show, and the tickets sold out in minutes due to bots. It was a nightmare getting through to get tickets, and people were pissed about it. Aftermarkets were available almost immediately after onsale, and the prices were super high.

They announced a second show a day or two later, and these tickets were more easily attainable. The secondary market was then flooded due to two nights, so the scammers got screwed and lost money.

Refreshing to see. Scalping from within has gotten completely out of control

Are there any terrible seats in the Smoothie King center? Haven't been there for a concert. At UNO I used to like sitting in the bowl that would be behind the basketball goal opposite the stage. How are those seats in this larger arena?

If we can get enough people I can check on a suite. We did that for Bill Burr and it was great. We basically spent $50 per person more to have our own space and bathroom

Damn, this could be awesome. I had pretty much given up on seeing The Cure. 5/12 Houston, I’ll go solo if I have to.

These shows have gotten out of hand. For what you pay for one of these you can have a nice weekend in Florida. Just from 2020 to this year, the price of Tool tickets moved out of my range.

I got an email about being able to buy tix as a "verified fan" starting tomorrow. I also saw where the tix are non-transferable. Does that mean there will be no tickets on the resale market?

I got an e-mail saying I'm on the "Waitlist" for the "verified fan pre-sale". So I guess I'm screwed.
