They say the 3rd time is the charm...Flames, Thrashers...
More hockey for the USA
But they have to bring back the Nordiques

It would be weird for Bucci to say this for no reason, not like him.

So what teams would they would be replacing?
Arizona Coyotes seems obvious, but Bettman really loves them for some reason.
Who is the other?
I highly doubt the NHL wants to expand past the current 32 number.

The Thrashers color combo was kick-arse.

it'll be great to go to an NHL game here again.
Last NHL game I was at was Game 2 of the NYI-Pens in Pittsburgh w/my cousin a damn decade ago.

The interesting part to me is WHERE they will be playing.
Talking about tearing down North Point Mall in Alpharetta (which I believe is happening anyway) and building the arena there. That would be in an area full of potential season ticket holders.

That would be kind of odd considering the NHL just had their all-star weekend in Miami a month ago
The Panthers have been good the past few years, so attendance has been better.
Who knows?

I'd be posted there every home game if that was the case

I'm unfamiliar with Atlanta, Sounds like a good thing?

That is the smartest thing that they could do. Take a page out of the Braves playbook and play close to your base.
I live in Griffin but you can bet your arse I'd go to a couple of games a year. Especially when the Pens come in.

Yep.
The majority of the hockey fans in Atlanta live on the north side of town and Alpharetta is 15 miles due north of downtown Atlanta.
