Act as Willy here. Who would be the ideal starters tonight based on the matchup?

Oh so we're just throwing this game away? Because from all I've seen, Dyson only gets minutes in garbage time now.

I know not the thread but Jonas sucks so bad. Why don’t we play Jaxson at all? Is he that bad? I think running Jax out there with a 5 is super helpful. I remember earlier in the season when he was out there with JV it actually worked.

JAx in the doghouse, but he needs to be used when we play 2 athletic bigs.

Why? Is his defense that bad? I mean the team is giving up 70 per half on the reg. Can he be worse?

Careless passes, work ethic, etc. But yea if you didnt trade him, then play him. Esp now with the Nance injury

Starters:
Daniels
McCollum
Richardson
Ingram
Valanciunas

Bench:
Lewis Jr
Jones
Murphy III
HAYES

I’m not a fan of playing my super talented undrafted guys over my recent lottery picks. shite just doesn’t sit well with me.

I love Alvarado in spurts. Personally, I think he’s too small to be on the court most nights.

Every time Jaxson Hayes checks in I’m excited for him then… he launches a dumb arse 3 smh but all in all the Pelicans need his length and athleticism on the floor

Have you seen him play this season? He's pretty easily the worst player on our roster.

What games you been watching? Jaxson hasn’t been given an opportunity this season.

Willie decided to lean into his wing depth this season. Jaxson has served in the role of redhead stepchild

This is it

Willy won't do it cause he has Hornets era Monty-disease.

He is going to forever confer outsized trust to players that fit the mold of the type of player he was when he played.

So expect the actual lineup to again be:

CJ
Richardson
Herb
BI
Jonas

With Jose the only offensively high-energy self-creator off the bench. So if he's not on, or getting others going, probably another low energy bench performance cause we refuse to use Richardson where his is optimal

What?

He's played in 34 games, 448 minutes.

That's 34 opportunities Jaxson has had to play well. He hasn't done so.

Kira has looked solid in less than half the games and minutes, so that excuse for Jax just doesn't work. He's been awful this season, and he's had chances to not be awful.

PG - CJ/Jose/Kira/Dyson
SG - BI/Josh
SF - Trey/Herb
PF - Jax/Naji
C - JV/Billy

If Jax is playing like trash then try Herb/Naji/Josh at the 4 and pray.

Point taken. We interpret the numbers differently, and that’s cool.
