It`s highly likely that most of the people arrested for illegal gun possession are part of The Democrats voter base/ criminals.
One of the reasons the Democrats get the votes is because Democrats are soft on crime and keep their family members out of jail.

I'm a certified Anglophile but in addition to her politics, her physiology is seriously off-putting.

When did we start having magistrate court on Mardi Gras Day?
The thing was always... the entire court syste was closed Sat - Tues. If you got arrested, you were in OPP until Wednesday. This has been the case for decades.
For all of you saying she did this because it was an illegal search... BS. The police reports weren't even in yet. She had absolutely nothing to stand on at that point.
Now... were the searches illegal? Who knows. If they were... then that would come out after they get the reports and review all of the cases AFTER the magistrate hearing. And if they think the evidence won't hold up... THEN drop the charges.
For an ADA of her stature to show up on Mardi Gras Day and do this... this was 100 percent pre-meditated by her.
As far as Jason WIlliams... y'all should be a lot nicer to him.
It's not his fault that...
1) He doesn't know how to handle his own finances at his law firm
2) He doesn't read his tax return before filing
3) He thinks it's ok for a unenrolled "tax preparer" to handle stuff for him
4) He can't figure out how to timely file documents
5) His side piece is likely going to jail

If... If... the police did use some shall we say "aggressive" methods here... this is not a surprise. There's a very neat line between Richard Pennington and Michelle Woodfork. This type of stuff is 100 percent what NOPD did under Pennington... and you know what? It worked. Violent crime dropped like a rock.

POS Emily Maw knows exactly what she was doing. Disarming America is her only agenda. Maximizing bloodshed is the most effective way scum like her see to accomplish that objective. She absolutely knows that these guys will just go get more guns, in fact she's counting on it. The more dangerous and deadly are out streets, the more likely she thinks you will be disarmed. There is no plausible other reason for her actions.

This is just a flat out lie. The law does not say this.
You may not like her, but she is right to not enforce unconstitutional laws. I think she should give the guns back too.

That’s a pretty extreme view. I have a hard time believing that’s her real motivation. Has she ever said or written anything like that?
