So much white knighting for a coach that averages 10+ losses per season.

Link?

ETA: Everything I see online is more about whether Beard is a hirable option. Some of the comments almost make it seem like Ole Miss might even consider their interim, Win Case, because of his recruiting. Yes, his name is Win Case

Amazing that Alabama’s AD allows their coach to keep a Star player who may be an accomplice to murder on the team. Our AD gets rid of Wade , for what? To satisfy a bald headed hack named Dick and I wouldn’t be surprised if Dale Brown didn’t have some say so in Wil being fired

Because he’s a really dumb cheater and has an awful reputation nationally. It’s bad PR for the league. He’s radioactive.

I wish we still had him, but I could absolutely see the league office strongly pushing teams to lay off him a few years.

Sure it might have been a stretch in facts but the overarching point remains.

Beard is a homerun for any AD who is willing to accept the initial slings and arrows that would come his/her way in response to the hire. But I also think Beard knows his demand is high and may only grow larger the longer he stays out. Thus, I'd be surprised to see him take a job like Ole Miss when other jobs could come available. Most prominently, Louisville and (to a lesser extent) Georgetown.

Maybe, maybe not. Given the current climate, domestic abusers are a risk.

The blind love a man who was a decent coach that got fired for cause gets just blows my mind. It’s worse than the orgeron cult.
