Wish I did know something...my ancestors would certainly know what you are talking about.

Evening, Chief.

Schooling the unwashed masses? Lil Dirtyfoot was just tryna show a little expertise in horsery, emboldened by prodding from Kupvid. Maybe Kupvid could teach him aboot betting on Sister Mary Katherine Gallagher's basketball.

In the meantime, do you think a little Dawn would get Baw's foots clean? Maybe eh just needs a whore's shoe for good luck. (Damned autocorrect.)

Lol, nah...my male ancestors were involved with Saddlebreds so I shouldn't say that.

Y’all can laugh all you want but as dominant as Tiger was he has never been as dominant than Secratariot was at the Belmont.

But to answer the OP, it’s the Masters. You can have four days of great golf and fun that’s usually full of drama. The Derby is cool but with all the involved with the event, the race is only like 3 mins long and boom it’s over.

How in the blue hell did they get the hose to back up to the stump?

Careful, though. Chief knows things.

They owned Saddlebreds on their plantations. They certainly didn't do any girly stuff themselves.

My great great great uncle was on the national board of the American Saddlebred Association or whatever it's called.

He was really good that weekend. But I think his 1st masters win was more impressive than the open in 2000.

That's the whole point of it.

This was actually a good comparison. Derby field is also restricted, though I miss the earnings qualifications. The points system is dumb and is creating most of the recent merry go round derbies.

Kentucky Derby is boring and over in a few minutes. The Masters is a SEVEN day event with four days of competition.

The comparison, sure.

The spelling, on the other hand...

The Churchill Downs meet lasts for 2+ months. There are ten other races on the day of the derby.
