Agreed as well. Let's not forget about Him and Jerry reynolds playing against Michael Jordan and Kenny Smith with all the drama back in the 80s

I wondered why in the tournament that year we saw John Williams bringing the ball up the court and then I looked at the roster. They had no depth at guard. After Taylor and A Wilson, they didn't seem to have anyone SEC caliber. I recall Nebosha Bukimirovich playing as a backup in several games in the tourney.

Dale your tie is too short. Can't show any shirt.

Louisiana State uniforms

Those uniforms used to be my favorites, but they've worn a variation of them four times this year, and are still looking for their first win

Vargas could be the greatest, but he also played out of control sometimes. He was consistent in his inconsistency

Second to Chris Jackson as best PG in LSU history.

I would take Ethan Martin in front of Taylor, but either one is solid.

Late in the game Pervis Ellison was guarding Horford. Ellison looked more polished and was more effective. Recall Ellison was the center on Louisville who beat LSU in the Final Four and went on to win it all.

I agree. From 1979-1986 we had Ethan Martin then Taylor at point. Talk about steady leadership .

Tito was the subject of Dale's greatest recruiting visit. They were in a "dead period" in which coaches could only speak to recruits over the phone. Dale's fix was to place the hotel telephone in between he and Tito while they both sat on the bed and talked shop.
