Wierd that some dude can just walk in registrar of voters office and drop off a box-

A few things I see as potential challenges

Boxes aren’t sealed
They are possibly late
They were delivered by a civilian without any proof of identity
No idea what is in the box
No idea where the box came from

To be clear, they have to prearrange the dropoff time and validate afterwards.

Beldan has a thing for flair, so his over-the-top performance is just what it is.

Seems there is a back and forth between the recall and advocate restarting. The recall was told to turn over copies of the signatures once they were turned in, the recall assumed an electronic spreadsheet was sufficient, advocate wants paper copies. Recall wants to charge $1/copy (15k pages).

Seems the middle ground is electronic copy of the signature pages.

Watching morning news and just heard Clancy DuBois talk about the lawsuit and active/inactive voters. Said this on another thread, this will end up similar to the St. George craziness. Summary, don't expect anything to happen on schedule.

Not a lawyer but some of these questions will eventually be decided by the state supreme court.

yeah weird that a citizen of a community can just go into government offices with recall petitions.

Not happening under the Garland led DOJ.

Is that a private suit or did she get the City’s attorneys to do it? Curious

Cantrell attorney Marion Floyd said in a prepared statement that Ardoin had acted without any legal authority in reducing the number of signatures needed to trigger an election.

I would have bet dollars to donuts that Marc Morial would be indicted shortly after he completed his 2nd term. There was so much shite going on around him that it seemed inevitable. When his crony, Pampey(sp?) Barras, was indicted it seemed like the last straw. But the 5 year statute of limitations came and went. Now that cocksucker (literally) is President of the Urban League in NY, which I'm sure provides a deeper pool of political corruption to him.

Sidenote: His wife/beard had great legs when she was in NO. Too bad Marc prefers the company of men.

If Ray Nagin went to jail, she sure as shite better go to jail. What Ray Nagin did doesn't seem all that bad compared to this bitch.

He took a trip to Hawaii in 2004 with his chief technology officer. It was said to be paid for by the CTO, but it was discovered that a contractor's credit card was used to buy Nagin's plane ticket.

This bitch used tax dollars to fly first class. Wasn't she using some home owned by the city for personal reasons? She makes Nagin look like a boy scout.
