Can easily sink hours into this game.
The one thing I've always wanted from this and the Sim City series is more paths to advacement.
Once you've had a couple of cities under your belt, the 3rd becomes so easy to reach all achievements. I always find myself wanting longer playability from these games.

That’s me too. I see all these awesome cities and think “I can do that” and then it’s just grid after grid. I’m not creative enough. I downloaded the Savannah area map so I’m going to try to recreate my town. I have tons of mods and assets and I don’t even use them because I’m a dunce.

I tried out the Remastered version yesterday and started getting some kind of pandemic wave after 8,000 population with my whole map lighting up with sick and dead people. Hospitals had plenty of capacity but got overrun in no time. Don’t ever remember this happening before.

you didnt have your wastewater upstream from your drinking water did you?

No I know better than that. I did notice that my water pumps were producing pollution. Haven’t seen that before. Maybe when I added a second pump next to the first it took in some of the pollution from the first pump. Not really sure how to deal with that.

The river I was using for water reversed itself.
I don't think this is a new bug though.

Having a setup that's walker-friendly is just good for traffic in general. Roads with sidewalks and custom walkways are your best friends in traffic management.

I have the same issue as a lot of people in this thread. I adore this game, but I constantly feel like I have no idea what I'm doing (or sometimes, I have no idea what I'm even supposed to be trying to do). I spent an entire weekend once trying to figure out how to properly lay out public transit and felt no smarter on Sunday than I did on Friday night.

Nah I know better than this also. Getting weird river flow reversals near where I place my water intake pumps and sewage outlets. Never had this problem before. Might be the particular map I’m on with a narrow river.

The follow-up to the original released in 2015, Cities: Skylines 2 is being built exclusively as a “next-gen experience”. The game will feature more open-ended gameplay and “fully-realized transport and economy systems”. Multiplayer features were asked about, but nothing was provided at the time. Cities: Skylines 2 launches later in 2023 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.

RIP low-end built computers.

If I learned anything from watching YouTubers and my own playing, it comes down to choosing the right map. The base maps in the game are conducive to grids because they’re nothing but big open spaces.
There are also a number of things that are way unrealistic. Coal Power Plants provide 40 MW and Wind Turbines 8 MW. The real numbers are closer to 500 and 2.75.

My biggest issue with this game is I can never finish a city. I keep starting a new one every time I log in as I get overwhelmed with what I did last session.

Same, but I am ready to get hurt again
