Nope, unfortunately the PC brigade kicked in and we had to settle for flag football.

We did have a men's fast-pitch baseball league though.

I had most of my fun off-base, traveling. Gibraltar, Costa Del Sol, Granada, Sevilla etc. We just picked a town with a college/university and made a weekend out of it there. Also watching the World Cup in '94 with Europeans was a trip, especially because it was played in the States, and we knew zilch about soccer back then.

God bless all of you. I will speak for my grandfather who served in WWI and died in 1994 at 103. Damn fine American and he was a huge LSU fan.
