Yeah, for all the talk about how much Floyd and Taylor had progressed, I think Shores has been just as good, and maybe better in the scrimmages. Now Taylor is hurt, though hopefully he won't miss too much time. So yeah, whoever is in this rotation is going to earn it.

The good thing is you don't have to rush Shores
Let him start the midweek game until he gets his feet wet
If it plays out right, Shores true test will be against Texas in Austin unless they hold someone back for Texas and let Shores start against someone like Kansas St or Sam Houston
Then you can start making those decisions about weekend before sec play begins
