Except it was the Japanese
LINK
And the MSM, like the Washington Post, is quoting this event in some articles to push the idea explosives were in the balloons.
So you know this is total bullshite.
Apparently, we’ve done this before.

Fu-Go (??[??], fugo [heiki], lit. "Code Fu [Weapon]") was an incendiary balloon weapon (????, fusen bakudan, lit. "balloon bomb") deployed by Japan against the United States during World War II. A hydrogen balloon measuring 10 metres (33 ft) in diameter, it carried a payload of two 11-pound (5.0 kg) incendiary devices plus one 33-pound (15 kg) anti-personnel bomb (or alternatively one 26-pound (12 kg) incendiary bomb), and was intended to start large forest fires in the Pacific Northwest.

Pretty sure the Japanese killed a few folks in the lower 48 with those during WWII. Probably wouldn't categorize that as three letter organizations funny business.

Right. And we dropped two nukes on the guys who did it to us.
Truman >> Biden.

I was saying this all weekend long. This was WW2 tech from the Japs.

The issue is upgrade;
This new balloon streamed encrypted data back to their homeland while using extremely high resolution cameras - thermal, optical and other - as well as, other sensor data.
It shows that they could have slipped a nuke/emp over our heartland for a first strike.
Biden is a treasonous dog.

Heard an interview with Grenell and he also added that the moment it made news they probably started erasing the data they collected once it was downloaded as they should have expected it to be shot down at any moment.
So once it's collected and analyzed they'll probably come out saying they "got nothing".
Freaking treasonous POS democrats.

One of them landed in Desdemona, TX, but didn't explode.

There is literally no evidence that any of this is true.
