Looks to be a second one headed to Canada...

Torronto: A second incident involving a suspected spy balloon was confirmed by Canada’s national defence on Friday, and officials said they are keeping an eye on it.
The national defence said in a statement that “a high-altitude surveillance balloon was identified and its movements are being carefully watched by NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command).”

The president agreed with the recommendation of the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Mark Milley, and U.S. Northern Command Gen. Glen D. VanHerck to not "take kinetic action due to the risk to safety and security of people on the ground from the possible debris field."

I need real data on this.
Tell me how many people could take a drag off that balloon and talk funny.

If my calculations are correct, I come up with 350 large men

Should we shoot down the Chinese spy balloon, currently over Montana, USA?
Stupid question; of course we should

China doesn't even claim it. Why won't we shoot it down?

Not sure what the issue with shooting it down is. It’s over Montana not NYC.

BTW it could be a WW2 Japanese fire balloon that hasn't surrendered yet

I've yet to hear or understand a reason NOT to shoot down a known spy balloon

I guess we can add airspace to the list of things we've lost control of. Thanks Brandon

We can study that bitch when it's sitting on the ground.

To my friends at NORAD, can you please advise as to when this ChiCom Spy Balloon floats over Texas and specifically over my home. I would like to extend my personal disgust to the ChiCom leadership by 'mooning' their spy balloon. I mean someone has to put up some kind of protest for this violation of our airspace.
I realize the ChiComs own most of the Biden Administration but this is ridiculous.
Fair enough?

Shooting it down is a bit more difficult than whacking a pinata. Its in the stratosphere and barely reflects a radio signal.
But I don't really see the point of a spy balloon when the Chinese already own the white house and most of Congress

Nancy Peolsi just announced that it's racist to want to shoot down a Chinese balloon
