Success at Colorado is pretty relative.
He just has to have some winning seasons for 2-3 years and be seen on the upswing so he can parlay it into a better job. Obviously he sees Colorado as a stepping stone to a premier P5 job.

He’s won at every level, player or coach. He knows what it takes and the kids will come to him. He will have to be a very shitty gameday coach to not win 8-9 games every year 3 yrs in.
This isn’t success. I’m already tired of the different standards being set while everybody sucks off this fraud. 8 wins in a dog shite conference that no longer has its most histories program anymore.
It doesn’t matter how much he sucks, idiots will bend over backwards to make it seem like he either succeeded or that it is the fault of something other than “Primetime”

If he can get things going and eventually run the new look Pac-12 at CU, assuming CU stays in the conference, he'll get into the expanded CFP. Why would he leave right away for somewhere with a harder route to the CFP if he can make it to the dance through the Pac-12 at CU?
But if he continuously makes it to CFP, then ya I can see him eventually going somewhere with deeper pockets and better recruiting opportunity.

I’m surprised Lil Wayne is still alive. Thought all the drugs would have killed him by now

He understands social media, he understands being cool. He is a coach that players feel they can identify with and relate to. He was a successful player.
like it or not, he is going to be successful. IMO Auburn should have taken a stab with him and I think they will regret it in a few years.
What we fans see as cheesy, (Dabo, Sanders, even Shane sometimes) these recruits are eating up. They see it as someone leveling with them, someone meeting them halfway. The old days of Frank Martin like guys, the my way or the high way types are done. Especially with NIL. That said, some like Saban are established enough that they will last, but for an up and comer...I don't see many making it for a while. The pendulum will swing back at some point

he'll succeed, and surpass initial expectations but once those rise i dont know if he'll go above that at CU. I can see him going to another bigger school to chase that national championship if it becomes available

Why are most of the people dressed like they're joining a junta militia?

Do you watch CFB? Different teams have different standards built in, that's just the nature of the league. Colorado has 1 season where they went .500 or better since 2005. I don't think you realize just how bad they've been. Winning 8 games three years in a row there would have fans jizzing their pants.

Deion had on Sherpa fleece, snow bibs, and red slippers.

Weezy is tGOAT
It’s pretty funny though how everyone acts like Colorado has the best facilities in CFB when there’s a ton equal to and 10x better.

You’re a bigger douchebag than how you guys see him. Why HOPE to see someone fail because you don’t agree with how he goes about running a program?
Is this the only video you’ve seen of Deion at Colorado? Have you seen the meetings he’s led that’s been shared? Have you seen what he wants out of the program?
Hey, to each his own. The guy has been on the job for a month and landed about the same class as Auburn did.
Saban has been outtalenting teams for 15 years now at Alabama and no one wants to ever call him out in it. Deion does it at a lower level and then moves up and he’s the devil and will never succeed. Funny how that works

Yeah their facilities are pretty standard for any power 5 school and even Colorado State has mostly the same things they do

Colorado has seventy three fans. They don’t give a frick. It’s near boomer age white guys salivating over Deion. Colorado is a joke, he is a fraud, and eventually it will be proven true. Winning at powerhouse high school football and playing schools for the blind in the swac doesn’t mean shite.

No, those are the guys with the money to be around Deion. Deion might be a lot of things but if you watch the man's kids they are all well spoken, grounded, polite kids. Deion is doing something right when it comes to fatherhood and that in addition to his athletic and commercial success appeals not just to players but to their families. I believe Deion will have Colorado bowl eligible in year 1 and that will be a great success.

I don’t understand the vitriol for Deion. His tactics aren’t any different from all the other snake oil salesmen in college football

wheezy says it ain’t really cold, Prime said I told you. Both look like they’re dressed for the North Pole.

Must be a lot of Colorado fans on here defending him. People have vitriol for all opposing head coaches. What do you not understand?
