In June 2004 the great British Gardener Graham Stewart Thomas had just passed and he had written books that I wanted and expected the prices to soar with his death.
Instead the prices dropped significantly and I used Amazon to fill out the GST part of my library. (Five books at once!)

Had never gone back to the beginning of my Amazon ordering history before. Have to say I was kind of surprised my first order was all the way back in August 2003. How things have changed.

The joy of Cooking was the first thing I bought. The second thing I bought was school text books. Amazon used to only sell books.
