He truly doesn't care about winning and that's the HONEST TRUTH ™.

Let's debate instead of calling me some type of troll. How does he sit back and watch his team get to this point? Where the hell was his urgency after his playoffs performance last season? Dude seems comfortable on being a fringe all star and watching his team struggle.

He is no killer. See how Jayson Tatum has responded after loosing in the finals? Now that's a killer. BI does not care about winning much.

And before we talk about on court performance, I'm strictly talking character traits here. What he has preached has NOT been consistent on what he brings or his toughness level. It's a reason why the locker room was frustrated with him.

You are talking about on the court once again. I'm talking his character traits man!. What's the point of talent and flashes if the person rarely plays and doesn't have the mental toughness or assistance to be there for his guys when things get tough?

We have watched BI laugh and be careless on the sideline in Boston while his supposed rivals in Tatum and Brown kill a damage roster. Y'all remember seeing CJ pissed off while BI was laughing?

Like how can anyone be ok with that?! No killer (MJ, Kobe, Giannis, Westbrook, etc.) Would be doing that. Horrible optics.

To your point, I definitely don’t think he’s the type of guy who lives and breathes basketball like he claims. Some guys have to be held back before hurting themselves but he won’t play unless he’s 100% healthy. That doesn’t seem to jive with his remarks about how everything in his life revolves around being on the court.

Thank YOU! Thats all I'm saying. Once again the HONEST TRUTH ™. Once we accept that we won't be so disappointed when and if BI doesn't pan out to be some star or if he is very inconsistent in playing.

His first game back they specifically mentioned how he was still playing thru pain and wasn't 100%

So I don't think that is accurate to say, at all

Definitely a bit harsh there Mr Honest Man...but I WILL say...I consider BI to be totally "touchable"

Nah

We have a happy partnership, I would never accept that offer, and the powers that be would never want to give me that offer.

We've had 2 players come back and "gut it out" through injury. Jose and Larry. Both had upper body injuries. Everyone with a lower body injury has been held out until they were 100%. I don't think that's a coincidence, I think it's about the risk of injury recurrence and/or new injury while compensating for the existing injury.

In interviews right before he came back Ingram talked about dealing with pain still. So he wasn't 100% even if there was nothing more for doctors/trainers to do at that point.

I’ve said it before, but I’ve personally had a sprained toe playing soccer in high school and can attest to the fact that it never feels truly right again. For the rest of my life it’s been pain management. I’m not an elite athlete or anything, but it’s a really tricky injury to heal because there isn’t much blood flow going down there, and you feel pain on every step. My doctors did the same shite telling me I should be good to go and I wasn’t. Sprains are not like breaks, they aren’t cut and dry. He looks like he’s good to go now, but everybody lay off the kid. He’s fricking tough, we saw it last season.

Everybody just needs to let him get a couple games to get his rhythm back and we’ll be back proclaiming him as a god again.

He also said he was waiting to be 100% before returning. Going off his history of having injuries linger much longer than any expects, I’d say it’s not far off.

The frick kind of bullshite are you talking about, Driveman? The guy is low-key off the court and doesn't embarrass the team or give the media talking points. Off the court, the guy is fricking impeccable.

And the locker room was frustrated with him, that was reported. Now no names were given of course, but has become a reality.

I posted this yesterday, but IMHO the Pelicans strength as they finished last year and early this year was that the culture had been changed. Guys wanted to play here and team chemistry was fantastic.

This seemed to kind of de-rail that and even Billy who was supposed to be the consummate team guys is bitching publicly about PT to reporters in his home country.

I can't help but think this is part of it.
