Bruh, the doubling down here is pretty cringe worthy. You're being a dipshit. Maybe you could knock it off a little and let it go.

the biggest issue is known bars profiteering off of underage drinking.
This may come as a shock to you, but pretty blonde college chicks aren't buying many drinks, they are having drinks bought for them.

You can’t seriously think she has zero blame in any of this. Obviously it’s terrible and she didn’t deserve it, but she made choices throughout the night

Wrong. You understand what principle to rape means don’t you?

Where were her friends? Did they put something in her drink? I mean everything these days says go out with friends and stay together. Never leave a drink unattended. Idk what happened but hard to believe this happens with all the info about never be alone and stick together. I guess I’m naive. I never remember being drunk and alone without friends.
I was always with friends. However, I had a few friends that sometimes refused to stay with us, even when we would try to make them stay an try to keep them from going. You have to remember that the friends are also drunk, just less drunk. I'm sure they feel terribly guilty about it. I know for a fact that 2 of my friends who were pretty much close to pass out drunk went with guys and were date raped. This was 40 years ago and there was no such thing as date rape. It happens and sometimes friends can't prevent it, even though they try.

Government isn’t close to LSU and that was completely unrelated to campus being safe. This stuff does happen everywhere and you’re ignorant if you think it doesn’t.
Yeah I think it's a disservice to both victims to make them seem the same
One involved a stone cold, cold-blooded murder.

I think that's true for guys but a lot of girls aren't worried about spending money on drinks.
In my day over a decade ago now, it was true for male or female that didn't have a good fake id. It was still annoying to sneak drinks with the x on your hand, so they would pound before or bring a flask/water bottle in
again, the stupidity of 21 is the drinking age while we all accept and often promote the right of passage that is getting hammered in college.

She made a poor choice to get blackout drunk. She has no blame in her death or rape.
Do you have a problem saying no to strange women who are snot slinging drunk?

Honest question. Two people meet at a bar. Both are drinking and both are pretty damn drunk. They go home a frick. Was anyone raped?
In that situation no. But my best guess, in this situation, that this girl didn't set out that night (by herself) to get ran through by three shitbags of this caliber.

You’re an idiot. The average fraternity member would have helped her get from the bar to her apartment safely. Just because there are a few bad apples doesn’t mean the average guy in a fraternity is a POS.
Posted on 1/24/23 at 9:39 am to RogerTheShrubber
That was my only point. No one forced her to drink, let’s also not forget SHE WORKED AT REGGIES prior to this so she likely did not need a fake ID to get drinks. She was probably getting them for free from her coworkers.

This is not a realm I am going to deal in. Neither you nor I know who bought her drinks.

you're trying to separate the two instances when they are not separate at all

They absolutely are separate. Thousands of underage girls were drinking in BR that night that didn't get raped and killed.
She was preyed upon. Underage kids binge drinking should be considered reasonable, because its the norm

They are both pretty good examples probably of what a cesspool the home of the state's flagship university is becoming.
When that university issues general sort of societal statements about all kinds of issues that aren't necessarily directly related to anything ON campus, it seems probably fair to criticize them failing to get on a similar soap box here - or at least to wonder why they don't.

then what is the point of mentioning? if these scumbags never come to Tigerland, her blackout drinking means almost nothing

If the “average fraternity member” would’ve stepped in and saved this girl while she was in the Reggie’s parking lot thered be a press conference and he’d get kicked out of school and his fraternity shut down

Yes we do. You can act like we don’t know what happened but you are also the first person to put all the blame on Reggie’s, lsu, and the piece of shite guys. I’m not saying those three shouldn’t have most of the combined blame, but she made terrible decisions which indirectly led to this.

No, I put 100% of the blame on the dudes who raped her.

Please advise young women to make better choices on who they hang out with and who they flirt with and talk to at bars and who they get rides with and who they hang out with after going to bars. A girl not as wasted would not hang out with those men.
I’ve said this once, and I’ll say it again: our current PC culture hasn’t helped this at all. It’s racist if you walk to the other side of the street when you see someone sketch. It’s racist to judge someone based on how they talk and dress. The current college generation can go out their way trying to associate with questionable folks for work points. They trust everybody from the homeless bum to the Uber eats driver. For a halfway intelligent criminal, these students are easy targets.
This poor girl never had a chance with her BAC. I’m wondering if she had talked to them earlier in the night.
