Not correct. Go read the affidavit.
She was let out in an adjacent subdivision.
A distinction without a difference,
She was admittedly, by the perps, too drunk to even know which car to get into.
Leaving her ANYWHERE except with some authority, or at least a public area like a store, is criminal itself.
They should get kidnapping charges added if Hillar Moore wasn’t a pussy.

Perhaps she lived in the subdivision with the gate and she couldn’t remember the code, so they just left her there at gate.
That’s mighty generous of you, giving them the benefit of the doubt.
And that whole part of the story is the testimony of rapists and potentially murderers. Why does everyone believe it?
It certainly helps their story if they “tried” to take her home. I think it’s bullshite.

Here's a other one. "Perhaps it was all a big misunderstanding..." Stop.

But there is a difference, and it’s important.
All those other things you said are OK.
All those other things you said are OK.

Besides their statements, what proof is there they tried to take her home?
Why are you taking their word as factual?
It certainly would help their case, if true, which causes me not to believe it.

Attorney for the accused speaks
“She (Brooks) willfully got into the car, said that her rides had left her, and she got in.”
“After that point in time, there were consensual sexual acts done in that car with her and two other individuals at two separate times,” said Attorney Ron Haley.“
“Absolutely not a rape. Listen this is a tragedy, definitely not a crime,” said Haley.
“He says a video taken during the incident shows Madison Brooks was in a coherent state and knew what was happening the entire time.“
“Can you tell, that she was intoxicated, yes. To the point under the law that you say you’re in a drunken stupor, to the point that you cannot lawfully give consent or answer questions, absolutely that was not the case,” said Haley.
Haley says an argument took place between Brooks and the driver of the vehicle after they traveled around to multiple locations after the bar.
“Based on a disagreement, she got out of the vehicle. She indicated she was getting an Uber. I want the public to know, these young men or really the driver of the vehicle and the young men that were in there, did not put her off on the side of the road,” said Haley.

I’m just trying to figure out how she ended up at that spot. I mean they could have driven 1/2 mile further and dropped her off on Gardere.

Wait til GPS phone data comes out. At least one has a phone because they did the public a favor by incriminating themselves performing the alleged acts.

You're assuming these are people that have reached a higher sense of morality post sexual assault.

Well, Mr Haley, the BAC data exists.

the real blame needs to be on the bars selling to underage drinkers.
frick these fricking people.

Not the bars or bartenders. The fricking attorneys and LSU president who want to blame shift.

Louisiana civil rights attorney suspended for six months over client communication issues
Shocking Ron Haley is a failure as a lawyer and styles himself a “Civil Rights Attorney”

He has a daughter also. Can’t imagine taking this case.

Looks like Haley sucks so bad as a lawyer he needs the NAACP sending him high-profile cannon fodder.

An alleged drug dealer represented by a prominent civil rights attorney wants his guilty plea overturned, claiming the lawyer, Ron Haley Jr., pledged to leverage a purported relationship between a private investigator and a Baton Rouge judge to get the man probation under a deal with prosecutors.
Instead, he got a decade in prison.

A video taken at that time tells me shite wasn't right.
I hope this crew gets sent to Angola and the crew there gets wind what they did. I only wish attorneys like this were thrown into the mix

he warrant said she was touching one of guy’s privates while in the car
Who said that? One of the rapists?? Gtfo
I think he stated this to police while also saying that he didn’t have sex with her or see 17 year old have sex with her going against driver’s statement, and he then lawyer’d up when asked for dna sample. Before arrest he then gave an interview to news admitting the sex but saying it was consensual.
Statement to police included showing how obviously drunk he knew the victim was while denying having sex with her or knowing other had sex with her almost like he was just wanting to explain that her being drunk was why she was walking in middle of street and why they couldn’t find a place to take her, and now he admits sex while trying to claim it was consensual. Not sure how he will retract his “when I tell you drunk, drunk, she was drunk” statement or noticing that she did not have her balance, was stumbling, and having be told by them that she was trying to open the door of wrong car.
