Madden 2008..Pittsburgh Steelers

Offense- Run 3 Wide, move Santonio Holmes inside to the slot and run posts or verticals... Hines Ward to the number 2 with curls..Willie Parker with HB Draw out of the shotgun..Running plays with Parker and Play Action with Heath Miller as the safety valve..Big Ben was able to shrug off tacklers alllll the time. It was filthy

Defense- Not even fair. 3-4 zone blitz packages with cover 2 and cover 3..freelancing with Polomalu ..if they have a running QB..Larry Foote or James Farrior on the spy..

Un fricking fair. We'd have tournaments and people would get pisseddddd

Anyway.
What was your best team you ever used in Madden, what year, how did you win?

Vince young on 08, Dallas was pretty fun on there too. The chargers were stacked as well with LT and Rivers, unstoppable offense

This one a-hole would run wildcat with Terrell Owens at the HB position in 08. Drove me fricking mad trying to defend it.

Mike Vick was GOATed in those early 2000’s madden games. Scrambling on 4 verticals was unstoppable

I think it was 19 or 20 where Saints were really good. You could call this play-action pass where Thomas went deep on a post route. Brees makes the pass every time and Thomas comes down with it more often than not. Then Kamara is a beast on Madden as well.

Playing against someone using Vick in Madden 04 must’ve been what older folks felt like playing Techmo Bowl against someone using Bo Jackson lol

By far the most OP player in any sports game I’ve ever come across in my years of gaming imo

I used to beat the snot out of my roommates playing with the Madden '97 Giants, for some reason. HB Flats all day, and ran no-huddle with it until they would call a timeout.

Houston on Madden 93 on Genesis

Run and shoot play call with warren moon at the helm. Pick the play as fast as possible and snap as fast as possible. The defense couldn’t get set before the snap…..made plenty people quit. No apologies.

This is the correct answer. Picking the Falcons back then was an absolute cheat code.

Madden 95 hb toss + pass with emmitt smith

Running backs threw it as well as quarterbacks back then, you either ran the sweep with Emmitt or threw a pass. It was the original rpo

Lots of neighborhood fights started over the use of the cowboys

The most dominating video game player ever was Bob Nelson, nose tackle from Green Bay in Super Tecmo Bowl.

I remember playing as the ravens back in the 04-05 days and EVERYBODY getting jacked up on defense with the hit stick

Madden 2007 with the Colts. Peyton Manning, Dallas Clark, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Dominic Rhodes, Joseph Addai. My passing offense was unstoppable against all of my friends.

I loved defense, and would usually blitz, and a lot of times drop back a random DL into coverage. Dropping someone into coverage who isn’t designed to in the play, would make a difference for some reason.

2004 Falcons. Vick was the fastest player in the game and they made Brian Finneran a 6'7 cyborg who could jump like he launched off of a trampoline
