There remains a segment of the population that continues to mask in places where the risk of infection is very low (driving alone, walking outdoors, the supermarket, etc.).

These folks may simply be over cautious, but I began to wonder if they find comfort in hiding their faces from public view.

Discuss.

I agree with this...

I know several peeps that would rather wear a mask than get their grill fixed (it is expensive)

They ain't ugly, just ashamed of their mouth for raisins.

But why are you concerned with someone wearing a mask?

It affects you how?

Insecure people.

Ugly people usually fall in that category.

The psychological damage is done. Many will never recover.

The current crop of maskers look miserable, and the majority of them have problems making eye contact. It's almost as if they're ashamed deep down.

What does risk of infection have do with wearing a cloth over your face? It does NOTHING to prevent spread of virus. This is a known medical FACT and yet we see these morons walking around all the time.

It does make it easy to identify them. It's the same as them wearing a "I'm a moron" sign every time they go out. I say, thanks for the warning..

From the beginning I have said masks were the equalizer for ugly people.

I’ve always said that’s why the left really loves the masks.

And criminals. I saw a rather suspicious looking dude walking through a parking lot the other night. He was wearing a mask even though he was outside and by himself.

Pretty sure criminals use them for disguise, which is the exact reason most jurisdictions have laws about covering a face in public.

As Bill Engvall would say... Here's your sign. It's make it easy for me to know who to not take seriously and avoid if possible.

This has the premise that ugly people actually realize that they are ugly. They did when I was growing up. They tended to be reserved and tried to compensate by being very polite.

But today I'm not so sure. There has been such a movement of teaching 'Everyone is Beautiful' from childhood that ugly people have never experienced someone calling them ugly to their face. They would be shocked.
