Retired. Wife still working. Try to get home on the weekends when she’s off.

32 with light snow- had heavy sleet earlier. Cold front is blowing in so I’m hoping they move today.

Season's over, school is back in, so I'm back to work but I keep busy shopping for a new rifle in the evenings. Still have some sausage to case, I guess that'll be the official close to the season. Until turkey time.

One more weekend of regular season and 1 week of primitive arms here. Then it's all over till next season.

I got this weekend and I'm bringing my son to try and shoot some animal.

Next weekend I'm going solo so I can get in the woods after some horns.

From what I’ve seen, the rut is winding down. I’ve seen young bucks getting back together. Of course, this is the stretch where we’ve seen some of the best bucks over the years. I think they range a bit more to find the last does.
