Yeah, if Flott went 3rd round I see Ward going no later than that.

Flott also played outside corner and had a great yr.

I don't see ward getting picked in the 3rd but i could be wrong.

Ward lost snaps to foucha and brooks. I've always been a fan of ward. Always played hard no matter where he lined up.

Was high on him as a 3 star.

Yea, I just don’t see it. I’m thinking 3rd-4th.

Brooks never really left the field so not sure what you’re talking about

Ward on season

104 snaps FS
230 snaps in slot
178 snaps boundary

Neither of those other two can do all 3 of those like Ward can.

Brooks and Foucha had 11 boundary snaps between them lol.

Foucha is interesting tho. Want to see him workout. I think they will like the frame. Want to see how he moves. He could push up boards

If Boutte falls yo the 3rd someone is going to get a steal. Ojulari is mid to late first just based off potential. Both will do really well at the combine.

Flott was the 81st player selected in 3rd round by the Giants
He played regularly and had decent stats
This was a bit surprising to be that he went this high
Ward and Converse will be 3rd rounders too

Foucha is not getting drafted

Too slow and can’t cover. Took a lot of bad angles this year also.

That int vs ole miss was really the only play he made all season

It’s about the players at LSU. These guys are gone.

3 or 4 won't get drafted. Boutte or BJ will be the highest at 2nd or 3rd. This group is solid, but no superstars.

Is it wrong of me to want Ward and Jaray to go rd 1? Do I think it’ll happen absolutely not, I just really loved these Tigers.

Absolutely not, but that was one of the reasons I started this thread is that we typically overrate players since we have watched them so much.

He’s a fringe UDFA but if he’s a good combine will be taken

I'm not seeing any rankings or mocks that have any LSU players sniffing the first. That said, here are my predictions (later rounds have larger ranges as they are harder to project):

Kayshon Boutte, WR - 2nd-3rd
Jaray Jenkins, WR - 4th-6th
Mekhi Garner, CB - 3rd-4th
Jay Ward, CB/S - 3rd-4th
Joe Foucha, S - 7th-UDFA
Jarrick Bernard-Converse, CB - 4th-6th
Micah Baskerville, LB - 7th-UDFA
Mike Jones, LB - 6th-UDFA
Jacquelin Roy, DT - 2nd-3rd
Ali Gaye, DE - 4th-6th
Anthony Bradford, OG - 5th-UDFA (no idea)
BJ Ojulari, Edge - late 1st-2nd

Boutte is no longer a first round or even likely a second round take.
He will do well to go in the third, and then teams will want to test him on medical and injury recovery issues.

I’ll want to see combine times.

If Boutte runs well he could sneak into the first.
