Again, not true. There are bars downtown, The Dawg House pretty much in the middle of campus, and I bought beer a few weeks ago at the Walmart Neighborhood Market right across the street from campus.

I think everyone who lives South of Alexandria or grew up in Monroe or SBC just assume that Ruston is/was/will always be what it was 20-30 years ago. It's still has that safe Southern town vibe, but now the Baptist don't run every aspect of it. There is a pot farm, brewery, and you can even buy and consume alcohol without leaving the city limits. Heck, my nephew said they were even selling beer at Tech games now.

Is it still midnight last call in town? I know that’s what it was when places could only sell beer.
