Aren't all these Republican doomsdayers just proving our point?

Keep hearing these scenarios like the Dems cut a deal to get Jefferies as speaker, or McCarthy cuts a deal with the Dems, or some other even more so called moderate/centrist canidate runs as a consensus canidate.
Isn't this basically proving our point? They would rather cave to Democrats than try to work with conservatives with some pretty reasonable/basic requests.
If they are that desperate, that they'd be willing to blow their uni-party cover just to retain power, then I say let them expose this circus for what it really is.

No, but that's how it's being framed by the coordinated outlets that you (and those in your echo chamber) follow.
It's what they call a self fulfilling prophecy. The 20 have framed this to produce just the thought experiment in your head. It's all they have because they are such a small minority they have no real power.
The "GOP and Democrats are the same" meme is one of the dumbest thing ever repeated on this board. It's something that only people who shelter themselves and don't ever actually engage with any Leftists would believe.
The danger of following this stupidity is that you ARE going to allow Leftism more power and more power quickly. Of course, radicals will just spin this within the same meme and the useful idiots will eat it up.

Correct. McCarthy is showing his true self. He has not shown the ability to bring the Republicans, of all cloths, together. He doesn't even appear to be trying either
He needs to withdraw. Otherwise I look forward to this playing out longer

One can agree with this and believe at the same time that the GOP and Democrats are too much the same.

Well not the same, but too close. It's rigged.
It's wrestling. It's the Harlem Globetrotters in the Washington Generals.

Particularly when the people uttering it will even tell you that they'd vote establishment GOP over Dem. But they couldn't tell you why

some pretty reasonable/basic requests
a kind of gaslight version
the 20 want for any member to be able to demand a vote of confidence and then oust the speaker who does or does not do anything the one member has issue with.
the 5 want to run the house for their benefit. be on committees they demand.
and decide what gets done.

Okay, explain how they are not the same. Using McCONNELL, McCarthy and Romney, as examples.

Sure, but that's because America is a lot more moderate than what the partisan poles believe. THAT is the issue.
The vast majority of Americans are moderate. They don't want super high taxes or tranny lunacy, but they also don't want full abortion regulation and Evangelical social conservatism, either. This means the Reps from these areas are much more likely to be moderate, which presents an opportunity to work together with other moderates (of any party).

they are not the same. Using McCONNELL
garland would be a Justice.
amy barret would not be either. the supremes would be 5 4 lib.
the recent abortion ruling didnt happen.
settled law ya know.

The fact that you had to cherry pick 3 people might be a good example of them not being the same

And even with those 3 examples you could look at their voting records and see a difference between them and democrats

Mich McConnell molded the USSC into a 6-3 conservative edge. He did this by hook and by crook and by violating norms and at a lot of cost.
I don't know much about KM to even comment.
Romney is pro-business and trade, but I imagine this will create problems.
One of the main issues in this discussion is that I predict that a lot of traditional (as in, 40+ years) GOP views are now seen poorly b/c of Trump's right-populism and his Leftist economic policies, and you will pretend THAT is the REAL GOP policy (even though it really never has been)

Well, unlike the rest, they are representing the American people.
I can see how that would offend your communazi arse.

Oh that is rich, we have seen on many occasions there being a coordinated effort to portray a certain narrative by the mainstream media.

What makes that narrative dumb?
Do you understand what people are saying when they say that?

This is 100% accurate
The idea that every democrat backs the tranny lunacy is absurd
Most are against late term abortions also
People are not nearly as extreme as extremists would like to believe.

Another meme with no evidence.
What if you're wrong and they only represent a proportionate (about 10%) population? Do you still believe they're representing "the American people" or a small minority of that gorup?

No fricking shite.
And there is the same shite going on with Patriot-approved media-content outlets.

Yes. Mostly it's revisionism from people who have jumped from being big GWB and war supporters to "small government conservative" Tea Party supporters to anti-ISIS war hawks to doves promoting right-populism and Leftist economics all within about 12 years.
EVERY time they adopted a new identity, magically, this became the "real GOP"
