Where is Z. Heard by week 4, who takes a seat on the bench to make room for him?

In case it takes a few weeks for him to crack the starting lineup. Is he at RT with E. Jones at RG? Does he take WC job moving Campbell to LG, moving Frazier or Dellinger to C? Is he forced to just rotate in because we are solid everywhere? How does it play out? Of course it'll take some time for them to get experience but it's amazing how quickly Kelly & Davis have flipped the OL talent along with quality depth being built. I'm guessing him at RT and Jones at OG is most likely

I wouldn't expect him to start year 1, but he'll be a tackle when he does.

RT and Jones slides over or Heard plays RG are the most likely scenarios.

If our line is playing well, Heard may just have to be a backup or step in due to injury. Playing true freshmen on the OL isn’t the norm. Dellinger, Frazier, and Bradford will all be seasoned vets next year with another offseason in the weight room. If Heard is clearly one of the best 5, he should play. He’s going to have to earn it though.

Jones projects as a guard. Sadly he was the next best tackle on the team. I think they want him inside, so hopefully Heard is advertised.

Good news is that we should be 8-9 solid next year on the OL.
And just 2 years ago we had one of the worst OL in the country

It’ll be WC at LT. ZH at RT. EJ at either Left or right guard when the dust settles. Jones projects as a guard.

I could possibly see him working at right tackle and moving Emery Jones to guard. No way does he start at left tackle. I'm sure he has the talent, but Will has talent and experience

C - Dellinger
RG - Jones
RT - Heard

With others rotating in...this line will be stacked

He will have to earn it, but based on the reports from the all-star game this week, he’s legit. On3 has him as the best OL there by a mile.

The UAB and Purdue games suggest it will be Martinez as C over Delly. He came in for Turner and played until he got nicked up.

I will give you that Delly looked better snapping the ball than earlier in the season when he got In vs Purdue. But I still think he’s your first guy off the bench on the interior of the line.

if you’ve ever seen em play in person you would know that Heard isn’t taking anything away from WC

Heard has some development needed.
