The absolute sickest heat/humidity I ever experienced was in downtown Charleston on a trip in June. Incredibly brutal. Made it back out to where I was staying on Isle of Palms and it was significantly better

I’ve been down there once in the warm months and the difference in heat and humidity between downtown and even twenty yards offshore was astounding.

You don't have to change teams because you change states

Charleston is great

And also get familiar with Morgan Wallen, Zac Brown, Widespread Panic, and the black dude from Hootie and the Blowfish. Darius Rucker I recall.

Have been a huge Zac Brown and Darius Rucker fan for years. Love country music. Warming up to Wallen.

And I was joking about changing teams but I would have no problem pulling for either of those teams as my second team and going to the games. I want to integrate into the culture and meet people and I think that’d be a good way.

Hoping it stays that way. I don’t want to have to move again.

And poster bruco, who escaped Chicago to Charlotte years ago and who loves Charleston more than me, is pretty damn excited about these developments

Elan is closer to Leon’s. So you know my vote.

Kidding. Sort of.

The medical district does not appear to be a bad place to live either. And the peninsula is not all that big.

My bougie arse would be in Mt Pleasant yesterday but you know, job. And I do like Charlotte. But the day after I retire I’ll be down there.

No.

This is the wrong mind set. You don't have to adopt a new team. Continue to be a Wiscy fan. You don't have to pretend to be a Carolina or Clemson fan to "fit in".

Congrats.

We moved away last year. I love Chicago but moving away was the best decision for us.

Wouldn’t be about trying to fit in. Would be about experiencing my new home state and meeting people, and having a blast. I do enjoy sports after all. We go to random team bars here in Chicago all the time to experience their traditions and excitement, and meet their fans, and I love it.

Yeah I should update my TD profile I guess.

We moved back to Louisiana. We’ve been trying to move back for about 10 years and the stars sort of lined up for us finally.
