Is there somewhere we can see his snap count vs the defense total? I’d like to see what his numbers could be if he played closer to a full time role; pure thought exercise obviously

Crazy numbers as a true fresh

He had about 3 more “forward passes” that looked a lot like FF too.

He's a problem, for other teams.

His closing speed is just unreal
It really is.
Looking at the Arkansas Game and the Alabama Game it jumps out.
Arkansas is just him running down an elite athlete, but what is really impressive is the Alabama GameZ
Young is a good athlete and he’s not looking to them upfield, he is just running horizontally to buy some
Time. Perkins not only keeps up with him laterally, but he’s also closing the distance between them to put pressure on young. So he’s running the hypotenuse in this trig formula at the same speed Young is running to the corner.

I believe he's 3rd in Tackles behind Penn.
Still incredible for a freshman to make that impact year 1.

It was a good sign in the bowl game that LSU looked to move HP around so teams couldn’t neutralize him with alignments and such. There were a few teams that did that pretty effectively.

Dude has potential to make a TM type of an impact, but from the LB position.
Of course, he may not be able to change games in the same ways as TM simply bc the position difference. However, if he continues to progress, he has that same explosiveness and he can change a game's momentum quickly.

Not sure who else saw but he was making tackles on kick offs. Dude is just a freak.

Actually we don't know how good Perkins will be until we get some depth because if he has to play every down then he will peter out just like our D line and Baskerville did this year.

The comparisons to LT may be legit after all.
