I just don't get the point of either beverage.
If you want to drink a good lager, there are plenty of other options.
If you want to worry about your carb intake, then drink vodka or tequila.

Gold, taste a little more like beer.
But in 100 degree weather tailgating or at the beach, ice cold Ultra does the job better.

I like the taste of gold more but the lower abv at 3.8 is a downer plus it costs a few dollars more for a six pack.
