Without cheating, guess which one of these QBs won a natty at LSU

A.)
Passing: 202-359 56.3 % 2,407 yards 21TD 11 INT
Rushing: 100 att 215yards 4TD
LSU total defense rank #3
B.)
Passing: 254-371 68.5 % 2,774 yards 16TD 3INT
Rushing: 180 att 818yards 11TD
LSU total defense rank #50
C.)
Passing: 192-296 64.9% 3,082 yards 22TD 8INT
Rushing: 34 att -133 yards 0TD
LSU total defense rank #21
D.)
Passing: 232-342 67.8 % 3,129 yards 28TD 8INT
Rushing: 52 att 142 yards 1TD
LSU total defense rank #4
Also if there’s anything UGA has reminded college football in this new offensive era, it’s that defense still wins championships.

I think D is Jamarcus. Flynn is A and the winner.
Also puts into perspective how big a year Daniels had with over 3,500 yards of offense 27 TD and only 3 Int. He did have a few fumbles I recall, but even a 27-6 TD to turnover ratio is excellent.
He carried the offense.

Still can't believe we got absolutely fricked by refs in 2006 and that team never sniffed a NC game. Way too much talent to get arse reamed by refs.

That’s legit impressive if you didn’t google

LSU was #3 in total defense that year

They also got boat races by Bama in the SECCG and got the Bama mulligan. The NCG was close late might have been different if Metchie and Williams don’t get hurt

Daniels had over 1000 yards rushing.

He listed net yards I believe.

I looked at 3 different sites and they had 3 different rankings, but NCAA.com appeared the most readily used/reliable and had us at 7. The point still stands tho

Before sacks. It’s insane he still had that many yards considering how many times he was sacked (including sacks he created).

It’s an addiction.
The defensive rankings helped a bit as the top 10 rankings narrowed the list. Mett was the one that made me pause a second but the negative rushing yards was the tell.

Yep and yep. If the defense makes a leap in year 2, which I believe it will under House and with a healthy Masson smith/improved secondary/Harold MF Perkins, Daniels will win a natty in 2023.

defense rankings are all wrong and it gives it away.
2003 D was #1
2007 d was # 3
you have nothing listed as such in your stats. your numbers are wrong.
and we know you are not listing the 2019 defense
only two guys threw for 28 TDs prior to joey. mauck and JR.

Email NCAA.com and let them know they’re wrong.

Defense is where I have the most questions next year. The D just got gutted. Lotta new faces/pieces have to come together.
LSU’s offense next year, however, returns like every starter.
I think LSU will have to outscore teams next year.

D is JaMarcus, not Mauck.
