I really think he should go to a smaller college. He has all the talent in the world but maybe the SEC is too much for him. If I’m him I go to a smaller university and dominate and build my resume for the draft. He may benefit from that where they can help him off the field as well. I don’t know his full story but he may do better in that realm.

Who would have predicted three years ago that this thread exists and I'm bummed BJ Ojulari declared for the draft and don't blame him? Arik is a top 5 recruit as far as my excitement is concerned in the 20 years I've enjoyed recruiting. Just thought of BJ as the guy tagging along with him.

This. It was one thing to crack jokes after he left LSU, but it's very clear now that the guy is legit battling himself. More than anything else, I really hope he is able to find the help he needs and can live a happy, fruitful life.
Piling on the guy now is just poor form.
