As good as this class looks I’m concerned. Where are the DTs?

Down vote all you want. If I’m missing something then tell me. Portal guys coming that I missed. Don’t say the kid from Live Oak because he couldn’t start at UF

In my mind, a DT (and OL) seems like a position better filled from the portal. Most of the other positions can work with raw athleticism and speed. Interior linemen need to have a year in a strength and conditioning program to be SEC ready. Sure, there's exceptions, but for the most part, DT coming out of HS tend to be softer around the middle and benefit greatly from 1 year in a good S&C program.

So, that said, I can see why not seeing DT's signed can make one nervous, but I can also see where it's beneficial to focus on the raw athletes on signing day and fill other positions from the portal.

How are they “killing it” when they only got one of the Top 5 guys in Baton Rouge? Fence down?

Page 1 will explain.

We just signed our 4th 5*, in the running for 2 more. Shoring up positions of need.

It's a good day, Rock.

He started 3 games, played in their 2 Deep and played in all 12 games. He is good enough to play at LSU and I think will get better coaching here than with Sunbelt Billy.

I think Florida was a 4-3, LSU is a base 3-4 which he might fit better. Regardless, LSU needs Lee to come in and be that 4th guy along with Wingo, Smith and Guillory to minimize the amount of snaps that Wingo and Roy had to play this year.

With our 2 Ts currently on roster and Zalance Heard we are pretty strong there for years to come. Looks like we got a 4 star G also

Hopefully Ricks and Hall (long shot) tomorrow and Harbor later. Anyone else on the radar?

Curiosity check..

Over the last 4 years, Alabama has signed 104 while LSU has signed 84.
