Feels disgusting at this point. All this Bs. He wanted to sign but gosh bama came in with more money. He milked it and the fact that it was reported he might even commit without telling each school first was a red flag.

He wasn’t in a hurry bc he wanted to drive up the price. It worked

Was the same with Perkins and Matthew’s last season. We went 1/2.

I think everyone appreciates that message from BK, but he’ll learn quickly that he needs to get his hands dirty.

Maybe Ricks isn’t the player they want to do that with? I don’t know, they know him personally and his skills a lot better than any of us. I just know we need cornerbacks.

We need corners but we aren’t setting the precedent for future recruits by being the program “that can offer more” and that our best and final offer isn’t really out best and final offer.

It’s a bluffing game at this stage and don’t be surprised if Ricks says frick it and commits to LSU anyways regardless of Bamas big offer.

The situation:

Ricks wants to be a Tiger at heart and does not see himself playing anywhere else

Bama is making it hard and offered him the type of money to where Ricks might not be able to say no

This is fan fiction lol. Why assume he wants to go to LSU for love of the school but could only be interested in Bama for money? Whatever helps you cope I guess

Just messing, thanks for the info. Hopefully he goes with his heart. I mean if we have the best NIL package, and he’s as talented as he is projected, money won’t really be an issue.

Lol right. Except that apparently he’s gonna bc of money.

I know I’m in the minority on it but honestly frick that. If that’s it then bye dude.

Let’s move on and find some good players who give a shite.

In life, if you find you can’t say no, you are a slave.

You can say no. If he says yes it’s cause he wants to.

Think about the upbringing of a majority of these players. They are being offered immediate money to change their entire families lives.

If Ricks wants to be at LSU, he will. Plain and simple. Money won’t be the reason why he isn’t.

So we aren’t offering competitive money?
