He won’t be here long, so let’s rack up the monster DBs while we can.

Yea, he is an impressive person. Luckily for us he is still coming up in the coaching ranks but it wont be long before he is known. I felt overall the DBs played very well this year for all 1st-year players.

Why? He played in the NFL, was a superstar national coach of the year at the high school level, went straight to the NFL from there, and if you watch his interviews and listen to him talk he’s probably the highest character, most likable DB’s coach I’ve ever seen talk. Just from a personality standpoint I think he was almost as close to a sure thing as you can get

Why does this have to be a thing with LSU fans? LSU can have nice things.

This is his first year as a DB coach in college football. first true recruiting class. To say he won't be here to long is to early to tell. his wife went to school here so he has those LSU ties. How about living in the moment for now.

He is going to be the successor to Brian Kelly. Book it!

Dude can recruit but put together a good room this year on the field with minimal talent.

Steeples message in this video is elite: DBU isn't given...it is earned.

It's about working and process. Work hard and learn the correct techniques needed to dominate your opponent.

I'd imagine this message resonates with parents as well. Most parents understand the necessity of working and earning what you get in life. And they expect LSU to treat their kids the way they would...with love and respect, but a clear level of accountability for actions on and off the football field.

Steeples is translating that message to his targets. And clearly they're listening.

If Ricks signs with LSU he'll be a front runner for one of those top recruiter awards.
