Nice to see the falcons coach not being selfish and allow for something different to see if it promotes a change in and end result.

That happens often. Mariota wasn't their long term answer or a mentor for the rookie. They didn't want to throw the rookie to the wolves so they got Mariota to start. They'll roll with Ridder now and see what they have. They can always draft another QB next year.
