My question is if BK was the LSU coach when Bech came out, would Bech have ever even been offered by LSU?

I would say the answer is no.

Good luck to him.

I know this will not be popular on here but talk about no chest. Guy was shown everything even being the representative at SEC media days. I have seen a lot of people get down on other guys on this board but good grief this kid. Wish him well but good luck with that career.

frick that. He's going to be a junior and is being way underutilized. I don't blame him.

I thought he would be a major factor for us. Never worked out that way, for reasons that weren’t all his fault. Can’t begrudge a kid for doing what they think is best for them.

if you’re referring to Elias Ricks, you are sticking up for the wrong guy.

Bech did absolutely everything right and was passed up. He’s not leaving a scenario where he’s the #1 option to go to LSU’s biggest rival to be a groupie or get paid.

He wasn’t “way underutilized”.

Name a player who saw their playing time dwindle, and transferred, and “didn’t get the same respect”.

go.

Because Boutte is a our star All American player who was reportedly considering leaving us for Bama. The only reason he stayed is because he got a paycheck from Gordon. Not quite the same compared to a sophomore who saw limited action due to injuries and got passed up. It is lame of him to punk out but not really the same comparison.

Nearly every receiver was underutilized with Daniels this year, including Boutte.

We were still successful because Daniels can run very well.

There are at least 4-5 better options in front of him and potentially more coming. What a dumb take. He got passed up and struggled with injuries. It happens. Dude loves LSU and has to go to have the best chance at success in the future.

Wait!!! So which is it people? Was he underused or just not good enough? Y’all got to get your stories straight here.

Wish he would have stayed. He did contribute some. (Admittedly, he had some negative impacts as well.)

It's not a HUGE loss, but it is a loss. Luckily, WR is pretty deep.

He would kill as a slot receiver at most schools. Our offensive scheme didn’t routinely produce those type of chances.

Irrelevant. A business decision is a business decision.

The argument was that he made the best decision for him. Well that’s what they have all done regardless of playing time.

I’m sensing some underlying insinuations in this thread but I can’t really pinpoint what it’s about exactly
