Saban pulled his starting QB at half-time of NCG...

For Brian Kelly to win and win big, he has to have the stones to do the same thing, if necessary.
All of this hand wringing about what to do or what will happen tells me one thing. Many here, especially those who ask those type of questions, have very little faith in our $10 million a year coach.
Brian Kelly works for LSU, not for one player or another. He will do what's best for the program. So, lets see what he does next year.
I wouldn't expect any major changes until after the bowl game. Then, competition for playing time starts all over again.

The difference between the 2 is that Saban will put his ego aside to win games, CBK hasn’t shown that yet

Saban’s backup quarterback was Tua Tungavaoloa. Ours is Garrett Nussmeier. No offense to Nuss, but that’s not exactly apples to apples.

I personally thought Jalen was better than Tua. Still do

Oh STFU. He’s been here one full season. Ffs man.

Dumb take. Both of those qb's were better than what we currently have.

Well, when you have 2 NFL starting QBs on your roster you can do that kind of shite

Hurts and tua are both nfl starting quarterbacks.
Not exactly an apples to apples comparison

Many of yall fail to realize the difference between singling the hell out of the ball when down my 3TDs vs managing a game
JD was a great QB for us this year.
Nuss could be a good QB but you can't take what you saw in 2nd half of the SECCG and assume thats what we'd see every day

No matter how bad JD has looked this year, CBK has refused to bench him. “This is my guy and that’s who I’m going with. I don’t care how bad he looks or how bad he plays, I’m right because I’m the head coach and you’re not.” Leaving Nuss on the bench this entire season has been a huge mistake.

and you can't take that same half and expect to see it ever again in a game with JD as qb.

This has been my primary dissatisfaction with Kelly.
other wise I like the 'culture' he preaches.

You know what you can do? You can take the play that you see from JD every game - someone who refuses to air it out - and take away that that is what he is. JD = Les Miles offensive philosophy

People are prisoners of the moment…..either that or they struggle with nuanced thought.
Nussmeier may turn out to be a great QB, but they’re no way of knowing that from 2 quarters. The same guy threw 2 picks against Southern. Honestly, we just don’t know until it’s his time

Ending with a 3 game skid will not be good, but like you said, he knows best...

We don’t need alters to sow discord. Us actual LSU fans can do that just fine on our own
