It sounds to me like you have a bigger problem with BK than you do the actual QB competition. I love Nuss and hope he eventually takes over at QB. But I also actually trust the coach that knows better than some random douche canoe on tiger dropping’s.

So you are perfectly fine praising Nuss for his good half vs UGA but will refuse to acknowledge his horrendous half vs Southern G. Nussmeier 13-23, 183 YDS, 2 INT

Well he also did throw a bad INT against UGA as well.

It was clear from the first drive that Daniels was injured. I'm not sure what Kelly's thought process was, but maybe Kelly decided to roll him out and see how he felt. I personally thought Daniels should have been pulled earlier since he clearly wasn't 100%.

However, The QB "controversy" isn't what makes me doubt Kelly; the inability to put together a semi-competent special teams has been incredibly disappointing. I knew LSU would face a lot of challenges this year, but the special teams disaster was not what I expected from a coach of his caliber.

Nuss sucked that game. Actually he finally got to play against a horrible team and forced things. He made up for that.

I assume you are fine supporting a guy that literally can't pass downfield and had several rough games.

That kind of happens when you lack depth and familiarity. I’m pretty sure those issues will be fixed in the offseason

If he plays JD rather than a better player, then all that good will will be gone.

You are basing the fact that Nuss had a great 2nd half against a defense that wasn't even being that aggressive? UGA played pretty vanilla defensively in the 2nd half. Nuss played well and still could've had a few more pics.

We have no idea how practices went and if Nuss was even coachable. There are all kinds of factors that could prevent a guy from starting over another. Attitude, leadership, development etc. The fans see a performance and think this is how it will always be without knowing other circumstances. The only thing we can determine from the UGA game is Nuss has a great arm and is a gunslinger...we knew that before the game.

Not bashing anything. He played well. He has also been pretty terrible in mop up duty. I’m Just not ready to anoint him as the second coming of Joe Burrow like you clearly are doing.

So wait, Daniels didn't struggle several games? Daniels actually can read a d, see his receivers and he the ball to them accurately downfield. Well frick me. You got me, I guess I am just a dumb frick because I never saw that. frick it...you sold me, all aboard the Daniels buss.. he coming strong next year.

This is a poor comparison. Nuss is not Tua yet. He had an elite guy he could go straight to the well for.

Nuss has touched the ball exactly 69 times this entire season and has 4 turnovers to go with the limited touches. If you go back into his play last season those numbers become even more staggering. He has a TO problem that needs to be fixed or his positives will never outweigh the negatives.

He's 627 yards on the season in 69 attempts with 3 TDs and 4 TOs. He has more turnovers than TDs. One TD also led to 6 points for 1 team. Easy to see why BK doesn't start him.

There were plenty of threads like this last year on the UGA board about Bennett playing over JT Daniels. I myself was of the opinion that we couldn't win the Natty with Bennett, and couldn't understand why Kirby stuck with him, even after what happened in last year's SECCG. As it turned out Kirby knew what he was doing. The bottom line is we as fans only see what happens on Saturdays these coaches see these players in practice everyday. If you are truly bought in on CBK and believe he's the right coach for LSU then trust his and his staff's judgement.

Leaving Nuss on the bench this entire season has been a huge mistake.

Are you retarded? This is an honest question. A team that would have been lucky to when 6 games coming in to the year, just won the SEC west and was in the playoff discussion at the end of the year. You going to act like BK doesn't know what he is doing??? How do you think this happened?
