JD5 was the offense this year

There’s no doubt Daniels was the driving force for the offense this year. But I think that was actually part of his problem. Daniels has talked about trusting his teammates and not trying to do everything himself. One of the best aspects of being a great quarterback is elevating the play of the players around you and I just didn’t see that enough out of Daniels. He had moments with BTJ against Florida and Mason Taylor against Alabama. But as a whole I can’t really look at this season and say (insert player) was better this year having Daniels under center. I hope he can improve in this area and get our playmakers the ball with a chance to make great plays more often than he did this year.

Yea, that's not a good thing. It's horrible in fact.

Make a list of all the successful teams in the modern era where the QB was the leading rusher.

It will be a very short list.

Our Runningbacks have been weak since 2019.

That needs to change

That was my point. Everybody has been talking about him having such a great year statistically. But stats don’t always tell the whole story.

we had games this year where the backs were running well and then when it got near the goal line, he called his own number more times than not.

Well stated.

BK doesn't see it that way though.

Why wouldn’t you when the defense is selling out on a goal line hand off? That shite would have been great to have on the 4th down against Georgia

That’s why players love being on Joey B’s team! He gets them the ball

You would've have not been in the SEC championship game without JD at QB. The offensive line was too young and you needed his legs to get out of terrible situations. This team was maxed out this year. Why cant we just celebrate this?

I was going use what Burrow did for a player like Thad moss. But I didn’t think it was fair to put JD5 in the same thread with the GOAT

Because this year is over. And I want to win the damn thing next year. And to do that we need to get more consistent QB play.

You have put your finger on the problem. It needs to change, but seems unlikely to if JD5 stays.

NUSS is the most consistently reliable the program has seen, and that includes Joey Burrow (he only did it in his final season)
