Anybody hear Culotta say that Harold Perkins goes weeks without picking up his NIL money?

Gordon told Culotta that Perkins goes weeks without going to his office to pickup his checks. They just sit there on his desk in his office. Gordon said he doesn’t get his money because he doesn’t care or not being responsible but because he is taking care of his business at LSU.

Or, and hear me out, he has enough in his account. Those are just on top.

Let’s not assume a college kid isn’t spending here and there

Just glad to be living in a time where these guys are getting paid for their time and effort. It was so unamerican to restrict them from making money off their name

Yes bc it’s important that we not credit an LSU player who appears to be handling things the right way. We must open the door to discussion that discounts that. Absolutely agree

You really think a guy like Gordon doesn't want to miss a chance to get in front of these guys?

Yes. No 18 year old in today's world even knows what a check is. He'd be like "WTF am I supposed to do with this?" It's all Apple Pay, CashApp, and Venmo.

IMO, not very professional for Gordon to be sharing with the public and radio media when his client is picking up his NIL contract money.

I'll scream it from the top of the mountains until the day he retires from the NFL but I'm so glad this guy is a tiger. So many were dead wrong about his character from watching just a short clip. His coaches and teammates rave about him, he was personable and engaging when visiting those kids in the hospital, and is so locked in that he isn't in rush get more money.

they ARE being paid, although maybe not in hard, cold cash. Full ride scholarship, the use of billions of dollars worth of facilities, top shelf coaching, nutrition, tutoring, etc., massive exposure playing under the universities brand, chance to make important business contacts, etc.

If we want college sports to be like pro sports, then have at it, but I'll be out.

He's also the Athletics Academic Center's Student-Athlete of the Month so it appears he's handling business in the classroom as well.
