Just saw the preview. I feel like it's going to constantly build up to something but never deliver, and that's why it's called Troll.

I’m in the middle of watching it. It’s really odd. Lady walks into the room with like the Norwegian president and immediately starts telling everyone they’re ridiculous.

Watched it on a plane this week, it’s your standard Godzilla/King Kong formula. Big unstoppable monster can’t be killed by conventional means. it’s decent, kinda wish they had multiple trolls wrecking shite

I place this firmly in the “ok,” territory. I was unable to suspend my disbelief for most of it in the second half.

I cannot recommend.
Following the events of the first movie, they’ve chosen a more Sharknado vibe. Just awful.
Helicopters can hover. They are not jet planes, which require flybys and then slow arcing turns to reacquire their target. This is just retarded.
ETA - Just finished watching. I'm not even going to bump my own thread, I care so little for Troll Deuce. And yes, I'm going to spoiler this giant rock turd of a movie because no one deserves to see it.
You were warned.
[spoiler] There's a bad troll being kept by the gov't (of course) and it gets loose. The main lady character then reveals there's another secret good troll she's been keeping in the caves because it's nature and all that stuff. Man bad, nature good. Oh, and they go full in on making sure everyone knows Christianity was mega evil 1000 years ago , but Islam is pretty chill.
But wait! The good Christians of the day wanted to live in peace with the trolls, but the bad ones killed the king - ( Who decreed that trolls be allowed to live free! ) - as they wanted the devil trolls to be exterminated.. How? Holy water! Yep. That, and direct sunlight hurt trolls, but armor piercing ordinance has no effect. And there’s a whole bunch of Holy water right below the cathedral in the center of town!
So the 2 trolls fight, evil troll is winning, but the people ban together and defeat it with... military grade water balloons. FFS I told you, they Sharknado'd this stuff to hell. A real shame. [/spoiler]
