One look at their "traditions" should leave recruits speechless. The cult followers embrace the weirdness though. Who else worships dudes in bedazled overalls, pinching each others nuts, etc... Then you have the ring fascination
The fan base has made LSU make or break their entire season. Its amazing seeing the optimism at A&M now over a win vs LSU. Several prominent players reached out to LSU in the backchannels but all this talk and optimism has got them believing and staying.

If true, then we don’t want those types any way. If they’re looking to bolt at the first sign of adversity and that indecisive about their commitment to a program that it literally changes week to then I’d expect more of the same from the next year.
If they’re not happy at aggy and want to leave fine, but if it’s all bc of wins and losses then those aren’t character guys who hold shite together after a loss or two. They’re the ones causing the divide and problems

Williams Marshall and Harris are done but not by their choice
Ill bet at least 1 or 2 other big names leave by next season

The transfer portal is not even open yet and all these dudes are going to be going home for 3 weeks during Christmas and hearing the other side of things

The portal doesnt even open up for non grad transfers until Monday so these announcements are just that, nothing official. So people could have submitted to be in the portal but not announce it, we'll know a lot more next Monday.
I think A&M is just going to mostly lose non-contributors or guys they want to see leave anyways (like Denver Harris). But I can also see a few contributors leaving too who just arent buying into what's being sold there either, just have to wait and see.
The hope that people had they were going to lose like half their 5 stars they just signed though was always a pipe dream.
