Let us say that the who Dats play all 14 SEC teams in consecutive weeks. No byes do they go undefeated?
Add Texas and OU to make 16 games and give us 1 bye.
What’s say you?

Idk some of the bama teams were pretty strong I don’t think the line is that far off from an absolute powerhouse college team and the worst NFL team

These Saints would beat an All-Star team made up of all 14 SEC teams 84-0

This saints team is full of great players who are poorly coached. I could see that happening easily
Posted on 11/30/22 at 12:18 pm to mylsuhat
These are the Saints' backup OL
Throckmorton
Lewis Kidd
Yasir Durant
Landon Young
Throckmorton
quote:
Throckmorton entered his redshirt senior season on the watchlist for the Outland Trophy and was named a preseason All-American by the Associated Press and PFF. He was also named the fifth-best offensive line prospect for the 2020 NFL Draft by USA Today. Throckmorton was named honorable mention All-Pac-12 and a third-team All-American by the Associated Press, as well as a second-team Academic All-American, at the end of the season
Lewis Kidd
quote:
Moved from guard to tackle and anchored MSU’s offensive line... earned consensus All-America honors by earning first team kudos from AFCA, Stats Perform, AP and Walter Camp, and second team mention from HERO Sports... First Team All-Big Sky... finished his career with 48 consecutive starts, third-most in school history... paved the way for 11 100-yrd rushing games in 2021 and 32 individual 100-yard rushing games in his career... played in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
Yasir Durant
quote:
2019 SEASON
(FIRST NAME PRONOUNCED: YAH-seer) … Veteran offensive lineman who anchored Mizzou’s left tackle spot for the last two and half seasons, starting 33 of his final 34 games, missing just one start in that span (vs. South Carolina on Sept. 21, 2019) due to a neck injury … Protected the blind side of senior QB Kelly Bryant and was part of a unit that allowed just 6.08 tackles for loss per game and just 2.25 sacks per game … The offense averaged 6.3 yards per play over his 33 career starts … Signed with the Kansas City Chiefs following the 2020 NFL Draft.
2018 SEASON
Developed into one of the top tackles in the SEC, starting all 13 games for Mizzou's potent offensive attack, and doing an outstanding job of protecting the blind side for Tiger quarterbacks once again ... Was a key performer for a line that helped the offense end the 2018 season ranked 13th nationally (third in the SEC) in total offense (481.8 avg.), 18th nationally (third in the SEC) in scoring (36.6 avg.) and 18th nationally (third in the SEC) in third down conversions (46.4%) ... The Tiger front five was especially stout once again at preventing negative plays -- Mizzou ranked sixth nationally (first in the SEC) in fewest tackles for loss allowed (4.00 avg.) and eighth nationally (first in the SEC) in fewest quarterback sacks allowed (1.00 avg.) ... Perhaps most impressive was the fact that Mizzou was one of only three Power Five offenses to throw for at least 279 yards per game, while rushing for at least 200 yards per game ... The other two were national champion Clemson (279 passing/248 rushing) and CFP semi-finalist Oklahoma (322 passing/247 rushing).
Landon Young

Appeared in 49 career games, with 26 starts, including 24 in a row at left tackle
2020 First-Team All-SEC (Coaches)
2020 Second-Team All-SEC (AP, Phil Steele)
2020 Third-Team All-SEC (PFF)
2020 All-Bowl Team (AP, ESPN)
2019 Third-Team All-SEC (Athlon Sports)
Three-time SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week
An integral part of UK’s offensive line who were named semifinalists for the Joe Moore Award, which recognizes the nation’s Most Outstanding Offensive Line, in 2019 and 2020

Ok I was giving Saints a bye if we include all 16 teams in the new SEC.
What if we took away the bye? What if they played all 16 games in 8 weeks? Gameday every Saturday night at 6p and Wednesday morning at 9:30a.
Andrus Dalton would be able to preform?

Take the best Bama team of all time and this Saints team would destroy them.

Every NFL player was the best player on their team on every team, minus the NFL, that they ever played on.

So what about 16 games in 16 days against 16 different teams?

The 2001 Miami Hurricanes are the best college team I have ever seen. They would lose to the Saints 10 out of 10 games. You could take the best players from that college team and the best players from the 2019 LSU team and this Saints team would still win.

18-21 year old kids, most of them who will never sniff an NFL field, vs. an NFL team of grown arse men who are the best in the world at what they do. The amount of mismatches all over the field would be laughable.
Why does someone start this stupid thread every year. A college team would NEVER beat an NFL team. Ever. EVER.

The Saints might slip up and win 1 game by only 3 possessions.

Like I have told my son: About half of LSU's 2019 starters have made an NFL roster. Then I ask, How many players of the worst NFL team have made an NFL roster? EVERY SINGLE ONE!

A thread this stupid really should result in a ban.

You always go a little too far and expose yourself. Still funny though.
