My mom has been gone almost exactly a year.
Thanks for the reminder I won’t see her this year.

Some jewelry she wanted
A nice candle
A pillow made for side sleepers that go between her knees . She’s been using This same super flat pillow forever for that it seems that provides zero support . So it’s something she’ll use daily I hope

She's 75 and in great health. Probably a plant and spend as much time as I can with her.

My mom floated the idea of having the children just take her out for a nice dinner. I was ecstatic to say the least.

People use money as a substitute for companionship. Old people would rather have the companionship.

I got my mom and MIL (no pics) a skylight picture frame that you can upload pictures to at any time. Runs about $115 bucks but is def worth it .
Now my mom is able to see new pics of my baby girl all the time, even says good night to her. It has its own email and app you can upload to, shared it with the family so now anyone can upload, pretty slick

Just pleasant thoughts, she’s passed away. I’m an orphan.
