A&M game plan offensively was clearly

To go big personnel and negate players like Ojulari and Perkins. Brilliant strategy, one that took House an entire half to counter with bigger Dline.
Similar result to Ohio St v Michigan. Second year in a row Michigan went run heavy and just blew the lighter OSU defense back.
Might be seeing a shift away from spread back to power football since defenses are going with so much base nickel/dime.

sort of strange since that was the ONLY option TAM had to win.
Shutting down the running game should have been #1 and 2 priority for this game.
Hope they don't try the same gameplan for GA

I just don’t get why we couldn’t shut down the running game in the second half. We’d made such great adjustments against Auburn, State, UF, OM…
I’m sorry but Ojulari and Gaye just aren’t very good. Cost us the Auburn game last year and now this. A far cry from Montgomery and Mingo turning offenses inside out.

I don’t think House did a bad job… Roy couldn’t catch a breath because of the long drives, Gaye is just a body out there, Penn is slow, Baskerville had his worst game reading keys and tackling the football, Sage Ryan got picked on… on top of all this the only one that looked like they cared was Burns who didn’t play much at all… even though Foucha & Brooks weren’t playing well…

I said this last year that good coaches may decide that once the LBs get down to 205-215 lb, they may get power packages in order.
With that being said, ncaa needs to get scholarships up to 90 or 91.

We didn't adjust.
Clearly we overlooked A&M. I know some don't want to admit it, but the team was flat and unprepared.

Mason Taylor was severely missed in this one

Michigan was able to win Saturday's game by throwing it over the top. Their qb read the defense and they had td passes of 69 yards, 75 yards and 45 yards midway through the 2nd qt. Michigan was not able to run effectively until the 2nd half. Their qb and receivers one that game.

Otherwise,
Defensively, They wanted to force Daniels to throw it which they felt confident he wouldn’t

Throughout the history of football, the game shifts back and forth, defenses adjust to offenses, vice versa. With the emphasis on speed now and lighter defenders, I can see a scenario where coaches counter with Jumbo packages and a resurgence in the run game.

Don't forget our inability to do something as simple as contain the edges.
House clearly checked out this game.

It was the perfect strategy against a team that was hit with the flu, has limited depth and is out of gas. I thought our S&C would have picked up the level of exhaustion and adjusted.

Perkins looked lethargic and I don't think that was because of the Aggies. It was puzzling to me.
