if Daniels comes back? We all know Daniel's limitations passing the ball and he has hit his ceiling. He’s not going to play QB at the NFL level but I do think he could have a good career as a WR/ Taysom Hill type.

Still, does he really go pro and try to get drafted? If he comes back is Coach Kelly really gonna start Walker Howard over him and move Daniels to that hybrid role? Im skeptical and starting to think we have another year of Daniels as the starter.

If he is the starter next year, LSU finishes under .500.

Yet, Aggie starts a true freshman and beats LSU last night. So you are correct, no way Howard could be ready next season.

Daniels is of course returning, don't be silly.

LSU will have the deepest QB room in the SEC next year if Nuss doesn't Max Johnson.

I think he will. More importantly, he better win the job.

Can't read into anything said regarding the QBs based on the lies about it Nuss and Daniels being head to head. But I got the impression that Howard was pushing Nuss for the backup role and would won it if not for the redshirt plans.

Phenomenal high school player but no one knows how that's going to translate.

Jayden is a mobile guy with a high floor and low ceiling. He doesn't turn the ball over a lot and can pick up first downs with his legs. Kelly's track record shows that he'd prefer this play combined with defense and a strong running game.

I'm not going to pretend like I know more than Brian Kelly but it was infuriating to me to watch A&M's freshman throw jump balls to a stud WR and our senior refusing to throw the ball down the field.

I would rather him throw 4 INTs than continue to be this conservative. We aren't even trying to utilize the strength of our team. We have 3-5 NFL WRs and we won't push the ball down the field.

He might. Nobody knows what he can or can’t do and we won’t until he plays. QB prospects have a less than 50% hit rate. Assuming he is the chosen one is a dangerous game.

Whoever the starter is, I hope they initiate a summer of 10,000 catches with whatever WR are going to be here next season.

I don't think Walker will beat out someone that has as many starts at Jayden but if he does it can only mean he is really good.

Should probably throw them all behind or short because that's the passes they getting with Daniels.

Would this then really be a coaching problem? What is BK thinking? No way Daniels ever becomes a good passing qb. He had all GD night to find receivers but couldn’t. It’s like trying to beat farts out of a dead mule with Daniels. Geezus H!
