Christians and Christmas

I'm not sure if this is the place for this, but I've noticed a definite uptick in online videos and Christians organizations and people who are campaigning against Christmas and all I have to say is:
Don't be that guy who is opposed to everything. You are making zero impact and all you really do is turn yourself into some bitter weirdo yelling at strangers and their kids.
If you want to celebrate, do so. If not, don't do so. If you're worried about it, go tell someone about what you are for, the gospel, not what you're against.
Quit pretending you're so super spiritual you would never smile at a child getting excited about presents on Christmas morning.

I’ll celebrate Christmas but I’ll be damned if I ever drop another penny in a Salvation Army bucket.

Christmas traditions are pretty pagan in their origins. No doubt about that.
But last time I checked, God created December 25th too, so why not reclaim it?

As for the pagan origins, don't celebrate those parts. Sharing gifts is meant to commemorate the gift that Christ gave. You don't have to burn the yule or all the other stuff attributed to paganism. We don't tell our kids Santa brought them gifts, but we don't lose our minds over the idea. You can enjoy the holiday without dissecting it for all the wrong think.

If anyone here thinks that giving a gift to another person is antichristian then you need to rethink everything you believe, because it is was deduced with a faulty brain.

Those aren't Christians, those are CINOs

I am well versed in all the pagan holiday tie ins with Christmas and Easter etc….but I generally keep my knowledge to myself regarding that because there’s a time and place for letting it out and one has to use proper discernment about that.
However the main problem I do have with it all, the “Christian Holiday” celebrations, is that it can give cults such as Jehovah’s Witnesses a bit of a camel with its nose in the tent effect when they point things like this out. It can make them appear to have a false sense of enlightenment to those who they prey on to take a valid beef with mainline Christian organizations and then, once they get a platform, drive off the rails with their main doctrine. I don’t like the leg up it can give them to deceive people.

But Jesus wasn't born on Christmas.
Was born in a Sukkoth during the Feast of Tabernacles, not December.

Please elaborate.

Correct, nor was he crucified on Good Friday, Bad Friday, nor any Friday. The week he was crucified had TWO sabbaths and this is where folks get the timing off for starters(the Friday/Sunday Morning thing was pagan mirroring).…he also arose at the “drawing on”(aka dawn) of the first day of the week meaning Saturday PM based on the Jewish lunar calendar. Sunrise services are of pagan origins…this is some of what I’m referring to in my previous post but like I said in it as well…some folks can’t handle certain bits of information in certain settings so you have to be cautious in how you use it. You don’t want to spoil relationships and friendships over this type stuff but it is useful in the proper setting.
Edit: Just as I mentioned, some folks can’t handle certain truths…I simply laid truthful information out and immediately get a downvote. Thanks for proving my point.
If you, the downvoter(s) in particular, want to lift a finger to look into this…here is a good video on the subject of Easter…

Both are examples of errors where the "Traditions of Men" have taken on the force of doctrine.

I don't really know if that's a really strong argument for going on an attack on Christians celebrating Christmas.
People who want to follow false doctrine will make whatever excuse they want to go off track. Their issue is with the God of the Bible and their rejection of the Gospel, not Christmas.

Much like Christian nationalism, I must be following the right people on social media because I don’t know anybody that’s advocating for this.

It ruins the holiday.
Gifts are for kids, adults stress about buying each other shite.
We have never done adult gifts. If I want it, I generally buy it.

I enjoy gift giving to my wife and surprising her but I buy what I want throughout the year. I usually make it clear don’t get me anything other socks or stuff for smoking.

Christians celebrate his birthday on Christmas. Why is that a problem? We have had birthday parties for my daughter before because work had me somewhere else on her actual birthday. I don't see the issue.

Jesus never existed as a human on Earth. He existed in the minds and imaginations of the 1st Temple cult, which was the true religion of Israel and Judah before Cyrus of Persia built the second temple and bastardized their religion. Read 1 Enoch, then the Ascension of Isiah, then Paul’s letters, then Mark Matthew Luke and John in that order. Each successive writing has Jesus taking on more human attributes and more historical claims.

He was born
He was crucified
He died for our sins
That's all that matters. Not the time of year we celebrate His love for us.
