They actually have to win a match now. Berhalter's "system" is not conducive to actually winning games against quality competition. Iran just needs to play for a draw on Tuesday and they are through - US won't get a shot off. Makes the Wales failure that much worse. The shellacking that England puts on them today will be hard to see.

Keep the game close today and beat Iran. Pretty doable way to advance. If we can’t get one win, we don’t deserve to advance.

I agree a draw was ideal and we would have certainly had it if not for a wreckless decision by the Welsh goalkeeper
