I am going to be in New Orleans this Friday and Saturday night. I am trying to get tickets to the game, but if I can't where are some good places to watch the game in the French Quarter? Any good sports bars?

Keep walking down Bourbon St until you get to the rainbow flags, that should be a good place for you to watch the game (j/k, I really don't of any places).

Try a place called Rawhide in the quarter
they like dudes from Bama with big beer bellys cause ya'll got a purty mouth
Seriously, no good sports bars in NOLA IMHO

Serio's Deli in the quarter. Mike loves out-of-towners. Great food and good place to watch the game.

Go to Tiger Stadium and tailgate and watch the game. You will have LOTS of company. Just don't bring BAMASCOOP with you, everyone hates him.

I was at Bubba Gump Shrimp watching Ole Miss beat UF...the entire bar area was Bama fans
I know it's no sports bar but it was a lot of fun...probably just because Ole Miss won

If you try to get a ticket to the game, you will be in Baton Rouge. Go to the Chimes to watch the game if you can't find a tailgate with a TV. Lots of people will be outside of the stadium post kickoff, and it can be a pretty fun place to watch the game. The crowd noise is a great addition to the TV broadcast.
Old Absinthe House is probably the coolest place on Bourbon to watch it. Not quite a modern sports bar, but you will have a good time.

There is NOT a lack of bars but I never been to the quarter for a game, so I can tell you what is best or not. Any bar within the quarter will have the game.
I did watch a Saints game at the Gordon Beirsch Brewery 200 Poydras Street. That was really cool!
Good luck!

Not many traditional sports bars in New Orleans. But there are a few decent spots to watch a game.
The French Quarter Bar in the Ritz morphs into a sports bar on Saturdays right now. It's pretty cool. I watched the UGA game there last week.
Masquerade in Harrahs isn't a bad option.
Also Gordon Biersch in the warehouse district would work.
The Sheraton on Canal does a wall size TV on Saturdays in the bar. It's ok.
All of that being said, you can pretty much stumble into any corner bar in the FQ and see the game in a decent environment.
ETA: The Rusty Nail in the warehouse district is owned by a Bama grad. It's pretty much Alabama alumni headquarters on Saturdays.

you should definately just come on up to baton rouge for the game whether you have tickets or not. at least for the tailgating and to get a ticket.
i drive in from houston all the time just to tailgate and then watch the game at either the chimes or walkons.

Go to uptown NOLA and go to either Bruno's on Maple St or Cooters on S carrollton. Two good NOLA sports bars.

I strongly second anyone of these two. They are both right off of St. Charles uptown. Catch a sreet car down and see some other parts of the city besides the quarter.
Cooters has a great beer selection and some pretty good grub for a bar.

Serio's would probably be a good options but it is just across Canal and not technically in the Quarter.
I agree with the guy who said to go Uptown to Bruno's or Cooter Brown's. That would be my choice or just do the "walk around the Quarter approach" about an hour before the game and pick out a bar with a good TV and a good vibe. Maybe a place like Harry's on Chartres.
I hope you enjoy the game (but not too much).

I believe Harrah's will have the game on. If not, then the Hilton sports bar across the street from Harrah's.
